Easily the best tacos I've ever had in DFW! Had the pastor, carne asada, and barbacoa tacos. Great value, service was quick, easy, and friendly. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
This was my first time at Sabor a La Mexicana. I only ordered one dish so I can't speak for all the dishes they offer. I had a couple tacos with eggs and ham. They were delicious and satisfying. I am writing not because of the taco itself but because it was served on a fresh soft handmade corn tortilla. That alone tells me this place is a step above average. The menu too highlighted a wide range of dishes: Sopes, Gorditas, soups, fish tacos, Hamburgers, etc.. The prices were very reasonable. I predict I will be coming back. :)
This place is delicious. The tacos al pastor are so juicy and tender and the asada are also just as good. And the homemade corn tortillas are so soft and perfect! The ladies running it are so kind too! I highly recommend this place!
We were disappointed to see that Cool and Hot was closed, but super delighted to see that this restaurant had opened in its place! We've only tried the pastor, chorizo, asada, and picadillo tacos and the rice and beans- needless to say, we've had tacos more than once this week! The prices are good and the food was delicious. Sadly I didn't take any photos of the menu, but they serve a variety of dishes to include, tacos, tortas, eloltes, and a flat taco of sorts.
